Cryptocurrency Ether hits all time high of $4,400

Hong Kong, October 29 (Reuters) Ether ETH = BTSP, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency, hits a record high on Friday, just a week after its larger rival Bitcoin set its own record.

Tokens supporting the Ethereum blockchain network surged up to $ 2.6% in Asian time to $ 4,400, breaking the record high of $ 4,380 on May 12.

The crypto market has recovered strongly in the last few weeks, with ether rising more than 60% from its late September lows.

Bitcoin, which reached a record high of $ 67,016 on October 20, increased by about 50% from the end of September to the final 1.4% increase to $ 61,457.
