Mumbai-based construction company Larsen and Tourbo reported a 17% YoY decline in its profits as the figure stood at Rs 2,055 crores as compared Rs 2,467 crores of the corresponding period last year. However, the company’s consolidated grew 11% to Rs 39,563 crores as its revenue touched the estimates for the company.
The company received new orders worth Rs 50,539 crores as its consolidated order book reach its highest level of Rs 3,40,365 crores. It didn’t bag any large orders like the Rs 30,000 crore Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project which it received in Q2FY22. The inflow of orders was 31% lower than the previous quarter while its core infra segment reported a 16% YoY growth.
